Hold on a sec...

In a recent interview with Delaina Dixon, Amaury Nolasco says he would definitely be available if Prison Break were to continue!

“They haven’t told me yet, but if there is, I’m hoping to be available,” Amaury revealed. But it would have to have Wentworth Miller returning as well.

“He was and is the nucleus and the rock behind that team. Without him, there shouldn’t be any Prison Break,” he declared.

Before you come and gently reason to me why this interestingly worded comment means nothing, please remember that I'm as cynical as the next person but even a few words that are arranged in an interesting way will see me cluctching at straws again. *nods and facepalm*
If only. I bet it's just been transcribed strangely.

Salutations :)
I finished creating another girl, to accompany Papillon from the other week. I really enjoyed the process with her and so I wanted to try another one. I've gone ahead and bought more mixed stamps so I have plenty of colour and country variety and have the next one in mind already (if I can ever get to it!), sort of like a series.
Anyway, here she is.

She stands about 35cm tall.

Okay, I'm exhausted. Night night girls. I have a lot of lj and email stuf to catch up on, hopefully soon. Sorry to be so dull. *hugs*

Joy! It's raining today, after 4 months of none at all. It's been a perfect day for art and so I finished this latest piece. The idea came to me like a lightning bolt a couple of weeks back and it was so clear in my head, of course using the wonderful Sarah Wayne Callies as my model. I'm very happy to report that the way it looked in my head has also turned out on paper.

And this is where I admit that all these stamps are mine. I called my dad to ask (he has everything weird and wonderful you'd never want) and he told me he had stamps that were mine from when I was a kid. I laughed it off, he posted up a SACK of stamps and there they were, carefully placed in ziplock bags and labelled by country, neatly in the handwriting of my nine year old self. Who would have known my fathers hoarding would pay off for me and I'd reminded of how cool I was as a kid.

Anyway, that was a great lot of fun as well as challenging so I will probably do more but in the meantime, back to the oil paints! *winks at Linz*

Oooh! Okay so the rumors were true.
Wentworth Miller is going to be in Resident Evil: Afterlife, cast as Chris Redfield. Ali Larter is his sister. Filming just started in Toronto so get stalking Linz! I've done some looking around the internets and it seems that the ladies quite like this character, he's a bit awesome.

So...does this mean I'll be the one dragging my 16 year old brother to see it though I flat out refused to see the first a few years back when he begged me? Yes. And does this mean 6ft vinyl banners in the lobby, and movie tie-in action figures? Hope so!

I hope he does non-action film next though. I want some thinky Went released for my pleasure.

Woohoo! I just watched Went's first role (that we've seen) since Prison Break. Loved it! A few thoughts under the cut.

I had been pretty spoiler free for this and I was so glad. Firstly, gosh this ep was FULL wasn't it? Between the new annoying law woman, and the grumpy pants guy from another precinct who hits people, poor Stabler and Benson.
I loved Went getting his attitude on. Fantastic. And everything he suggested or concluded turned out to be right, because he's Went and that's the only explanation you need. The backstory with the daughter and the wife matched perfectly with his opening scene, great job and when the detectives went to the home of the druggie 'stupid bitch' wife I was really surprised that he was there, slapping her around and knew this episode was going to be extra juicy.
And it really was, he's unstable enough to throw a guy from a window? Fantastic though I must say, 5% of me was thinking 'Michael Scofield wouldn't do that, maybe the guy did jump'. lol.
They left a lot open in that epiosde didn't they? Not just Nate but also the guy stuck in jail. I hope they decide to bring him back!! And while they're at it, bring back Jenny White (SWC) a rape victim from the past. If we had it our fangirl way, we would have figured a way to get her back in this one, it was doable! lol *desperate*

Thankyou Wentworth, I feel quite satisfied and looking forward to your next great adventure.

He is such a fanboy and I love that he seems to be on board of they offer him a recurring role! *crosses fingers* I am keeping from spoiler free for this one but this interview isn't too overly spoilery if anyone wasn't sure about clicking.

Gosh, it's so unseasonably warm (winter and 32 degrees celcius) that I woke up to this! I swear they were wearing suits and a ballgown last time I saw them.

Hiya! Last week I went to stay with msgenevieve and we went to the Brisbane Exhibition, or just 'Ekka'.
It was a great time! It had been a few years since either of us had gone and a lovely day of new and old experiences. Not too crowded this year either.

The Ekka is like a carnival with extra bits, like jumping horses, fireworks, stunt cars, wine tasting, food (you can choose to eat food just regularly but it's more fun on a stick, lol).
They also have showbags where you buy crap you can probably buy more cheaply at the supermarket. There's also art displays, photography, cake and craft stuff, sometimes bands playing, woodchopping competitions(yes, really!) and ride on mower demos (Lot's of coutry folk, lol). Cute little animals, show animals, rides and lots of sunburn.

So here we go. Under the cut are a few (er, I hope no ones on dial up) photos I took during our visit.

Iz goat!

Rides are generally all in one spot, and was always called Sideshow Alley. Lately they've had some sponsorship though and it's now called Yogo Alley. How crap.

Cashing in on the Pirates. I was very impressed that this is a flume ride, it's water and you get in boats! Gosh that's very impressive for a dismountable ride.

At this point I should note that neither Jen or I felt the inclination to actually ride any of these. I didn't because I'm simply not hardcore. I'm the bench sitter who holds everyones bags. Also, it was very hot. Winter in Queensland, is pretty much the same as summer. Poor Jen was hiding in the shade patiently while I took photos so I made her hold props for me.

A couple of pimps, enjoing their day.

When you go to the Ekka, there are two things you eat there. First is the strawberry ice cream because it's heaven in a cone. They've been the specialty of this show forever. Underneath the strawberry ice cream, in the bottom of the cone are more fresh strawberries. Yummers.

And the other thing you must eat is the Dagwood Dog. It's a miscellanous meat sausage on a stick, covered in batter and deep fried then dipped in tomato sauce. It sells itself!

I didn't have one though because I don't care much for ground horse testicles.

Look Mo, even the Dutch were representing!Mmm poffertjes.

Then we went to the civilised places that had food and Jen bought a showbag full of extreme chilli for her husband, then we went and looked at dogs.
There were many breeds, but just packing up to go.
This gorgeous Newfoundland had a dribble problem but gosh, I love those dogs. I think it would be the closest thing to legally owning a bear.

Aww, someone's a bit tuckered out. Lol.

This guy on stilts was bizarre and frightened Jen. I needed photo's. I guess he could be described as a freaky gentleman. He didn't speak but shook all the kids hands.

Then we bought some showbags and decided to head out. We wanted to go to the shops and get dinner rather than sit anoter few hours in the main arena watching what goes on in there. On the way out I took more photos of sideshow alley, which is better at night.

I wasn't sure which of these to post so just put both. If you have a preference, could you please tell me out of interest? Thanks.

And there you have it!
I had a great time at Jen's also, her and her husband and dogs are very welcoming and I always feel at ease enough to dust the bookshelves. We played with Jen dolls too. lol. She will post that later *snort* . As always we had a lot of laughs!

New Michael doll. Tattoos. And they are sculpting a new head for him which I haven't seen yet. OMG. I hope it's better than the First one which is what prompted me to make my own in the first place.

Hmm, I'm using my Sunday to do some photography and when I got to this guy the natural question came to me.

I must say I really wasn't prepared to see pink spotty knickers. And now I wonder whether the manufacturer had a sense of humor or just wanted to give him modesty and this was the only fabric available? I mean, even barbie doesn't wear knickers, but this guy does. Lol.

SWC in Dragnet Stills

About to go to bed but before I do that, I just wanted to post these stills of SWC as Kate Randall (not Nate Kendall, I swear it's an anagram) in Dragnet a few years back.
I can't upload my copy but the U.S.A people might be able to view it here . I can't see that one because I'm obviously too foreign. lol.
Here's how it goes:
She's an actress and kills her secretly gay actor fiancee in a fit of rage because he was going to come out of the closet. She acted well as an innocent fiancee type and also acted well as an actor playing an innocent fiancee type. And then when they finally clued in and were taking her into custody, she requested time to fix her hair and put on a pretty dress. lol.

And here she is, looking beautiful of course in the last scene where she's accused of getting stabby on him, after the detective tells her she's a great actress. Feel free to use these caps. Night!

Hello there. I have art, two pieces and very different to each other that I finished today.

This is oil on canvas, 12x16 inches. I'm having way too much fun painting these. The rest are over here

This next one, well I look at it and laugh. I started it because once upon a time, I drew a picture of a this, then put it away and then someone bought it. It wasn't until I sold it that I realised how much I wanted to keep it so I thought I'd do a new one.
The original plan was to draw the woman (Sarah's my model) and the lion. So I did that and then shared it with two fangirls who somehow, through not so innocent chatter inspired me to change the drawing into having a Went in it. And then a suitcase. And then flowers. Lol. And then there was RPF talk which was always funny because hello, there's a LION there.
Long story short, this is WTF art meaning I don't know WTF to do with it but it was a fun process. Thanks Jen and Mo for the lolz and keeping me going.

I haven't done any icons since The Before Time but had a few images saved that I wanted to play with. This icon post is full of anger and hypocrisy at my non epilogue compliant..epilogue icons.
I need a new monitor, depending on where the icon was on the screen it was anywhere from orange to magenta. Fabulous. Middle of the night effort, excuse the meh-ness.
